Job description

HalioDx is an immuno-oncology diagnostic company providing oncologists and drug development organizations with first-in-class Immune-based diagnostic products and solutions to guide cancer care .

For HalioDx Pharma Business Unit, HalioDx is looking for a Senior Scientist to lead its IHC workflows.

This position is under the responsibility of the Pharma Services Director and is located at the HalioDx location in Richmond, Virginia.

 

Position and missions

  • Implementing the IHC Pharma Workflows in the Richmond Lab
  • Leading the IHC Pharma  Lab and IHC Pharma  team  for all Pharma projects  
  • Responsible for managing the studies in order to reach the objectives within the deadlines defined
  • Presentation of the technical progress and the progress of the project to management and team members
  • Responsible for compliance with all internal HalioDx SOP's
  • Share technical expertise and participate in staff training in new technologies and new products.

Profile

Required Skills

  • Master's degree (engineering degree).  
  • Experience in IHC workflows (experience in  Digital Pathology will be  a plus)
  • 3+ years of  IHC Lab work
  • Previous supervision  experience
  • Pro-active, rigourous, and self-motivated, the ideal candidate possesses a strong team spirit and qualities of adaptation.
  •  Fluency in oral and written communication.
