HalioDx, a pioneer in the immunological diagnosis of tumors, has the vision of better care for cancer patients thanks to its unique technologies and its collaborators. This position is located at our CLIA laboratory in Richmond, Virginia.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
• Carrying out product development and technological assessment tests
• Responsible for commercial & medical affairs specimen management, including all necessary documentation, within the established TAT
• Performance of routine Histology, including microtomy and H&E staining, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunoscore digital pathology on commercial & medical affairs specimens, within the established TAT
• Maintenance of laboratory records
• Supply and inventory management
• Respect and adherence to established SOPs
• Regular reporting to General Supervisor
• Responsible for quality control, routine laboratory testing, and review of run data
• Evaluates test performance and quality control parameters
• Responsible for equipment maintenance
• Troubleshooting of equipment issues – escalates any unresolved issues to the General Supervisor
• Assists with the implemenation of new test methods, including completion of validation work
• Prepares laboratory reagents and assay materials in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures
• Other duties as assigned


Required Skills :
• Bachelors degree in biological, chemical, or clinical laboratory science; MLS/CLS/HT certificiation preferred; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of applicable experience
• Experience working in a CLIA/CAP environment
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Mastery of Microsoft Office IT tools
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, team spirit, thoroughness, synthesis, and responsiveness.
